Do you charge for venue sourcing?

No — UK & Europe venue sourcing is free. I receive a commission from the venue once a booking is confirmed and has taken place. Event management is an optional add-on and charged separately.

What types of events do you cover?

Everything from conferences, incentives, and AGMs to away days, retreats, private dinners, and awards.

Do you manage contracts and negotiations?

The contract will always be directly between you and the venue. However, I’ll review contracts and terms, negotiate competitive rates, and highlight key clauses such as cancellation, rebooking, and attrition — ensuring you have favourable conditions before confirming.

How do you select venues?

Based on your brief, brand, ethos, and event goals. I use my industry knowledge, supplier relationships, to curate tailored shortlists, with creative options included where they add value.

Can you provide sustainable venue options?

Absolutely. Sustainability is a core part of my sourcing ethos. I can highlight venues with strong environmental policies and practices.

Once a venue is contracted, do I liaise directly with the venue or through you?

That’s entirely up to you. Some clients prefer to manage the final details with the venue directly, while others choose to keep me as their single point of contact. I can liaise with the venue on your behalf, so you don’t have to deal with multiple suppliers chasing you at different times.

How quickly will I receive venue options?

For most briefs, I’ll aim to respond within 24–48 hours with a tailored shortlist of venues. Complex or international requests may take slightly longer.

What if my brief changes after you’ve sent proposals?

That’s no problem, I understand briefs often evolve as plans take shape. If your requirements change, I can update the search and provide new or revised proposals.

Do you cover locations outside of the UK & Europe?

My core focus is venue sourcing across the UK and Europe, where venues generally pay commission, allowing me to offer this service free of charge. In the USA and Rest of World, venues do not always pay commission. In those cases, I’d be happy to discuss your requirements and agree a transparent fee for sourcing support where commission isn’t paid.
